    Just tried ordering a simplex fuser drive assembly and below is what I got back from my event from HP:

    Hello Gentle,
    In regards to your request
    Iím reaching you in regards Event# Part# RM1-5001-030CN is obsolete without replacement and it will be removed from the event.

    Wow.

    I had ordered one of these 'refurbed' from a company, and the solenoid on it had not been touched. Not repadded or replaced or anything.

    I ordered a few duplex assemblies. Let's see how that goes.

    You can modify a duplex assembly for simplex. We've done it. Just removing two gears and the belt.

    The duplex fuser drive assemblies are still available. Modding duplex to make simplex it is!

    Hey, I wanted to thank all the contributors in this thread. Had a cp3525 with said error and was able to repair/modify the sticky solenoid to resolve the issue.. It's alive and well now. Thanks!
