I'm c500 not adding toner

Was going to swap toner hoppers with another machine then thought better of it, took the hopper all the way off. Now when I reinstall it back on the same machine the hopper no longer adds toner at all. It asks for all of the colors of toner at once and never successfully adds any even though it sounds like it is doing it.

Hi,
The toner supply unit is usually pretty reliable in these models.
If it was working prior it sounds like a "TIF" (technician induced fault) to me.
I would check all connections. Make sure they are all connected securely.
There is a switch and a sensor that the toner door actuates. If the switch doesn't activate then no power will be supplied to the drive motors for the toner bottle.
Good luck, by the way this is a pretty obselete model now. Might be time for an upgrade.

Thank you for the reply. I will check that tomorrow.and post back. thought it might be something to do with the interlock switch that is located in that area.
