Intermittent C308 machine freezing,

Was on G00-84 before, and SATA controller is loaded with G00-04. Tried firmware G00-E1, and machine froze after a month again. Machine is hooked to Secondary PaperCut server setup. Can login print-copy-scan release jobs. Occasionaly, display become unresponsive. Reboot usually solves it. Display has been calibrated twice.

Any thoughts are much appreciated.

Havent found GG5-54 .Looked on ftp and ssd site. Maybe region difference/access.

The closest / similar looking I found is GC5-32

There's no version 32 at all in my firmware list, so there must be quite a regional difference in firmware versions.

Just FYI
E1 fixes these:
1,When amount-of-money-shortage User performs copy, the MFP displays a job history confirmation screen and then it freezes until system auto reset.
2,When performing Scan to Email, the operation panel freezes without completing the E-mail transmission.
3,When sending a specific PCL file, the data lamp keeps on blinking without printing.

2 and 3 may relate to me, but it happened again.

Had the same issue with C308s. I had also used the GC5-54 because in one case the would stop working if someone did a self association and reboot would fix it but this firmware permanently fixed that but not the issue where the display locks up randomly. Also our demo unit at the office would lock up.

What version of Papercut is being used. Try upgrading to latest release as this seems to help this series I have seen so far.
