    i mean dont get me wrong, i love making fun of criminals and their fraudulent behavior almost as much as Phil does

    agreed.
    as a last resort having to reset the NVRAM for ADVANCED troubleshooting (following a NVRAM backup as to NOT lose the meters) is perfectly acceptable but the crazy talk of resetting solely for zeroing the count is heinous in my eyes.

    Wow, again rehashing an old thread.
    Since it has been established that the xx4/xx4e models are easy to reset, has anybody figured out how to do it on the xx8/xx8e series? LOL!
    A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Now, KM service manager for 3 years.
    My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...

    Mate only work cxx4e
    Nvram reset -)waite 3x reboot not toch screen -) service menu-) initla. clear all data well done .
    One method only cxxe4 series work.
