    Minolta EP 1083

Hi - I get thin black lines on the copies. The manual tells me to use the cleaning arms to clean the corona. But it won´t work.
    Can anyone help - please

Agreed, stop the copy before it gets to the fusing unit. If the lines are there the problem is with the drum unit or with optics. If the lines are not there stop the copy part way through the fuser so you can compare pre and post fuser conditions side by side. You might want to start by cleaning the optics, coronas, grid and housings before swapping out parts.

Hi Gergô and cobiray and thank you so much for your reply. I have cleaned most of the housing and the corona looks like the copy - full of toner and lines. I cleaned it, and put the section in again. Better result, but still a gray copy with lines!! I have cleaned the corona three times -it still becomes durty - mostly on the underneath of the roller.
    Sounds mysterious?
