So far, it has printed well if we use lighter paper in the 1/2/3 trays, (106 to 135 g/m2) but when we use thicker stocks (200 to 300 g/m2), we notice a light haze/dusting of black on the open white spaces, as if the cardboard is dirty… (It isn’t) and also some banding in 2-sided prints, especially in dark area on the backside of prints, the cardboard used was Supreme Silk 12pt cover. Those Issues happen mostly with the long-format prints in 26" to 28". They seem less severe on 12x18 and 13x19 stock.
Then we have tried Enviro100, and it resulted in rather grungy, inconsistent solids. We would need to decrease the glossiness of the printed ink in order to attenuate the inconsistencies caused by the rough texture in the saturated areas. Is there a fuser speed, a temperature setting or a magic tweak that could accomplish this?
Thank you for suggesting some setting tweaks to avoid those problematic issues.
