Background
Several reports regarding “please enter serial number” have been escalated in the Japanese and European market.
Symptom
After main power on, device starts with error message “please enter serial number “. Most of the data are cleared except consumable counters.
Cause
The Battery for the NVRAM on the MFPB is empty
TAEU1801592EN_After main power on all data lost_1.3.pdf
GHV-M1 will partially solve this problem.
