Have you checked the Firmware Notes associated with the FW that you loaded? They generally include steps for upgrading/downgrading function version towards the bottom of the notes.
Soft switch 25 sets the function version..I believe it would be A0 for 4.2..Keep in mind that a function version upgrade may add some new protocols or even remove something..so you can induce problems with scanning and printing..E
B0 is the latest for w firmware.

Nope, soft switch for function version 4.2 must be B0 as Synthohohol mentioned. Check file coming with FW version to level other software, drivers, etc.Originally Posted by emujo2
