what was done previously? was it firmware?
there is a bulletin that after a certain firmware the HDD gets 'uninstalled'
maybe thats the culprit?

Admin settings -> security settings. In this menu click on first item on top of menu, on the right side scroll down (to middle aproximately) and disable the option to warn you abot the password rules at every boot.Originally Posted by Bix
