Tray 1 JAM 11-01/11-02 Bizhub C364

Hi, I have a bizhub C364 with around 100k.


Today I received a jam call from tray 1. I said simple: since the machine was stopped 1 month, probably damp or badly positioned paper.


Unfortunately it is not so. The most common codes are: 11-01 and 11-02. The printer has no problem printing from the second tray or from the bypass.


I replaced the rollers but without success. I cleaned the register sensor (PS1) and the others as well. From the sensor check I find no anomalies.


Regarding the jam: from tray 1 it can print the first sheet and then returns 11-01. Often there is no jammed sheet while sometimes it is just after the register.
Sometimes it was able to print even 2-3 extra sheets before detecting a jam.


Some idea? It had no problem before the holidays.

ah of course I removed the tray. No paper behind

Did you change or clean the one ways making sure to scuff up shaft where one ways make contact with shaft? Did you replace the paper feed clutch?

Yes that is correct part # for tray 1 PF clutch. Tray 2 also uses that clutch plus a 2nd clutch, A02EM20000.

Just a side note, it's very rare I had to replace those clutches. Paper feed issues are usually resolved with new rollers , cleaning the one way's and scuffing up the shaft as mentioned in a prior post.

Yes, it is rare problem but i have it few times but always on high volume machines, over 500k
