I have a problem with a bizhub 284e.
When the customer switches off the main swith, the machine lose its IP address.
It has happened before with a 224e, which occasionaly loses IP during weekend breaks...
Any suggestions?
Is it set to DHCP or Static? =^..^=

1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The nvram is an ssd. There is no bettery.
I suggest doing a network initialize and set a static address DNS and all.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
Also don't ask me for files without a contributor badge.
It is set to static.
I'll initialize the network and I will give you the feedback guys.

when you say it loses IP what does it revert back to?
i thought default would be for it to go onto dhcp
If its going onto dhcp then just reserve it that address in server/router
Does it also lose the smtp address?

I also had a customer complain recently that the IP address was being lost on an e series set to MANUAL.
BS was what i was thinking but maybe I shouldn’t have... LOL.
So far no call backs since updating to GDM-M1 anyway, it was running older and thought - what the hell.
