its just the firmware that said it was the latest on the konica website.
thats special FW not base.\special FW is written to solve special problems.
try the real base FW G20-M1
latest does not make it the best, use the White House as an example.

I don't suppose you have G20-M1 firmware on hand do you? cannot seem to find that firmware

Actually i have managed to find it. Ill give that a go now and will let you guys know how i get on!

The firmware hasn't sorted the issueits just download N.G. all the time, i then try the firmware reset which gets rid of the error invalid external device. but as soon as you try to print ANYTHING it comes up with a C-E301 error.
do you have any more suggestion or am i going to have to order a SSDB
Have you ran self diagnostic mode?? It may give you a better clue.
IMG_2220.JPGKM had a bulletin for that problem. Follow these instructions in order and it may fix your problem. Doing this procedure has fixed a lot of weird problems with these E series machines for me. BE SURE TO EXPORT AND SAVE ALL OF YOUR IMPORTANT INFO LIKE USER CODES, SCANNING ADDRESSES, ETC. When you do these formats and data clear, it will wipe out that info.

Konica BH C654e reset HDD lock password issue
You may not have the HDD Lock error, but our main issue was MFP NG. Which it seems to have fixed.
