    Konica Minolta C360 Fan noise FM4 FM5

    Hi,
I have a Konica Minolta Bizhub C360 in one of my clients
and theres a problem with noise generated by fan FM4 and FM5 but both of them working normally (but in client silent office it makes too much noisess..)
This both fans at all time works on high speed, only in energy save mode they stops,
i have checked on my service how it works on similar Konica Minolta C220 and after print out FM4 and FM5 work about 5 seconds after that and then stops, no matters if i will print on a Thick 4 about 50 pages or more, every time when print job ends fans stops about 5-10 seconds after.

I have checked a humidity and temperature inside machine and it was about 26 C just like in my C220 in my service,
I have changed the fuser unit and still this same

Changing energy saver timer to minimum isnt a good solution in this case

Is there any soft switch or something to change to resolve this problem ?

    Thanks

Hi I happened in some MFP series 8.
Some fans may not be well fixed and hit the sheet metal. I used adhesive paste to fix.

In other cases, there may be some dust.

Check Engine FW DipSW 5 on both machines, if differs make them same as your machine.

Check your SM for "fusing operation mode". There are 7 operation modes you can try them out.
Also make sure all machine filters are replaced/in good conditions.

Also look for "Exhaust fan stop delay" in your service manual. Default should be zero minutes but maybe someone changed the default at some point. The default time for the fan to run when this is set to ) is 5 seconds. So, this may not be your issue since it's lasting for 15 seconds.
