    I did not find the serial number of the scanner behind the machine Is it possible to be the problem of entering the serial number on the scanner from above under Glass

    No. You have to visit the serial number page but entering values is not needed.

    Is there another way to return the machine to the factory setting?
    Or use my c284e-firmware
    Because I do not know use the machine in copying
    Because the problem of the emergence of lines problem is damn I do not know where it came from
    Or do I do a formatting of the hardisk or memory stick, it is possible to solve the problem
    I am facing the problem more than 3 months I am ready to donate again but I want a quick solution

    Everyone here that knows and understands your machine and issue has said the same thing. Have you done EVERYTHING, every fucking thing, every motherfucking thing on page E-11 exactly as it is presented? Did you log the fuck into service mode and start with the date and time, then work through every single other fucking step on that page? Or did you just fuck with the serial number? All the money from all the oil fields in Saudi Arabia couldn’t donate enough to change the answer of what will fix the lines. Fuck sake already.

    You are correct, we have given him the fix FOR MONTHS...

    he has been provided with the actual guide that comes WITH the machine...

    I did the steps in the booklet
    I entered the date and then I entered the serial number
    The problem still exists

    Do you have some P codes showing on display because i think you have damaged drum k watching your photos (top side)?
    What is machine meter count and parts counter?

    I had the same trouble with a C452 and it was a memory error on the MFP board. After replacing the MFP board, everything was fine

    i think swap CCD because this lines is from bad image creation from scanner ccd not a physical problems in scanner like scan motor mirrors and other scan parts.

    if it prints ok, its a memory issue - usually fail memory stick has gone bad.. replace, then if still there go to the mpf board...

    but check all connectors first, and does the same lines happen when scanning?

    Agreed, if the issue shows on internal prints its most likely the memory. TAUS1001639EN

    tnrtt has a lot of things to check, but probably the quickest and easiest thing to do is a memory check in Service Mode.
    If NG try memory modules.
    Then unfortunately the replacement of the MFP board.

    However, do not depend on those memory checks as being unequivocal I have had memory checks pass even with a bad DIMM.

    Thanks a lot, Okeer. Replacing the memory did the trick. This forum is great. No matter how weird the problem, somebody here has encountered it.
