    PF-707 Power error

    Hello.

I have a Konica Minolta C6100 which has an error with the PFU, seemingly out of the blue. "Please confirm power cord and breaker switch of PFU and turn on power again". Has anyone seen this before and know how to correct it or what caused it?

    Thanks.

Yeah, on a C1060 I tripped over the power cord while walking around the PFU and kicked out the power cord. Now it's got strain relief so that can't happen again. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I wish it was that easy. It has the strain relief on it and the cord is secure. I've been troubleshooting C-4521, 4522, and 4523 Color registration sensor errors up til that point, when, on a restart, this came up and hasn't gone away.

    Thanks.

Doesn't sound good ... like an MFPB. Hopefully it will solve multiple issues. =^..^=

When the power supply units in these accessories fail, it will display as though the A/C is unplugged. They are simple to test power supplies. If they have A/C coming in, they should have DC being output. There are no remote turn on signals to contend with like on the main body.

Check your input and output voltages (see photo). Replace the offending power supply and you should be good.

If you need a power supply, let me know. I have a few of them.
