it already does count it.
if you print a meter sheet you will see the count for large.
you can verify at the machine service mode, stop 9 counter setting mode 2
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
Also don't ask me for files without a contributor badge.
I did the checking and this is what I found.
0. Print the counter listing
1. Print 1 sheet A3 colour
2. Print the counter listing again.
Total colour does increase by 1. (How to I make it increase 2 ?) Because 1xA3 = 2xA4.
Just test it if you are at the machine. Don't know if there is any way to change that email format.
Should be set to double for large size by default but like Synthohol mentioned it can be changed under billing mode.

Unless the machine is setup for Japan it should count A3 as large size is double counts.
