Same for the versions you asked for.

Next time I'll ask more specifically what the machine has.

Sorry for any mixup but it sounds like it's all sorted?
No worries Thank you very much for providing me the firmware files.
I didn`t knew that there were differences regarding the installed options.

As of now FW41 is running and working well.
But i would like to update to the newest firmware.
Is there a newer firmware for my printer (4000P - no options)? Like LW62, LW70, LW72 or are these just for Printer Options?

Plain Jane--basic options, no PKXX or other option that requires special f/w. E

Reading the firmware comments, you will now have to update to LW50 first and then you can proceed with the installation of LW70. The other updates should not be necessary.

Yes the LW70 is the last one.
I don't seem to see firmware for that, so I don't think you need to upgrade again

Okay, thank you very much for your help

    Firmware is working ✔
    AirPrint is working ✔

Only my Memory / RAM "Problem" still exists.
It would be good to know, if i need original KM RAM for a Memory Upgrade, or can i use normal DDR3 SO-DIMM RAM Modules.
Do i need a special Firmware for the RAM Option or a KM License?

Theoretically it is plug and play. You insert the RAM and no update is necessary. Can I try to understand the reason for the increase in RAM?

I have some 1GB RAM Modules lying around that i don`t need anymore and it came in mind to upgrade the Printer Memory with one of them, so it has a use again.
And with Memory it`s Better to have, and not need, than to need, and not have.

So i`d just like to upgrade it. It`s not necessary.
If you guys are telling me i shouldn`t do it, i won`t

The basic model comes with 256 MB..Expandable up to 1.28 GB with either the 512 mb, or 1gb chips (EM P01, EM P02) Not sure if there is 1 extra slot for the expanded memory, but it is DDR3, and is states "provides extra memory for printing functions" so more would be better. E
