    Bizhub C350 with Fiery controller

    Hello guys,

somehow i got this old creature to use it for basic printing and scanning. Machine looks okay (except blurry printing) but for this years old machine is acceptable. I have few questions - i am able to print from W10 and also app Remote Scan 5 is working well for FTP saving. But i need one thing to do - i need map some button to one-touch scan to email. I think i did the settings well, i can see machine over my lan and pinging correctly. I dont know how to setup machine to send emails (i can do everything by Fiery on screen, but this is, lets say, rubish work) with attachments.

I tried also VBox with XP to try to manage but no success. Please, is somehow here able to help me? Thanks a lot.

    Martin

if i remember correctly that series has no settings for SSL level, its just too old to use todays security requirements. i also dont thinks that the SMTP setting in admin mode even has a space for authentication.
doing email through the fiery wont do crap either.
best to scan to file and just attach it from a PC in an email.

that box is likely 16-18 years old, it was a different world back then.
that machine was discontinued even before you actually needed an invite to sign up with gmail and that was only 10 years ago.

I remember when my last few customers still had that box and they wanted to scan my IT guy had to rig up a separate HDD or storage drive. Forgot exactly what it was he had to do but got those die hard customers a year or two more before they finally upgraded.

usually blurred printing on these machines is associated with the need to clear the LED of the LPH Assy.
use only the specified LED Cleaning Jig for cleaning.

Thanks to all guys. I dont know where LEDs are, but i will find it. For this moment we can print and scan so we will use it until it say game over. I also got some original parts for free (tons of colour, drums, etc..) so why not to use.
