    Konica Minolta C258 error C-40A.
    Hello, I found in tray 2, the sensor was short-circuited, which led to the interruption of the ICP8E resistor. After eliminating the short circuit, I made a bridge in place of the interrupted resistance ICP8E, the result is that now the copier works perfectly. I hope it helps.

    This 458e returned to customer after routine customer, at remote location. 40A1 kicked in. checked this thread, asked customer to pull oout both trays, Tray 2 was culprit... Thanks otherwise it was ahell of job as customer site is too far away.
