It appears from the Platen and the DF.
When scanning 2-sided from the DF it`s only on the 1st page.
When disabling Auto-Color and scanning B&W only the problem seems to disappear (not sure yet).

Sometimes it`s up to 4-5 scan jobs in a row. Sometimes everything seems normal.

Possible CCD or MFP board. Is the machine brand new? There is a security measure - press stop,1,1,4,4,C in service mode and you need to input the correct date and time at install. Sometimes if this step is missed it will give coloured backgrounding or lines through copies. Have you done this procedure?

See if there is a setting to change auto color detection sensitivity!!! I have used other scanners, not just KM that when B&W is scanned in color, there will be a slight magenta cast which is related to the green sensor array in the CCD array!!! Make sure your glass & white balance strip are CLEAN!!! Check your auto detection sensitivity!!!C300i - Color Cast on ScansC300i - Color Cast on Scans

It is brand new (1 week old).

I will try it out, but the system got set up by the dealer (it had the right date and time configured on delivery).

Glass and strip are clean. I will search for an auto detection sensitivity setting and check it.

Edit: I am scanning color in color. It also appers on a scans with pictures and vibrant colors.

I'd be curious to see what the internal color test page looks like directly from the engine!!!C300i - Color Cast on Scans

Prints look fine, and also the test printouts from the service menu for color adjustment look great.

What test page do you mean?
