We still don't know what is the main cause machine to stuck at boot up. Maybe another problem is present and FW failed to update is consequence.

The mfp problem was fixed by replacing this part
But it was very strange why the scanner firmware downloaded n .g
the mfp may have fixed it but were you using the c552ds firmware or the c552 they are different
