I_O.jpgThere are many loads that can be run in I/O mode..Some require different sections to be removed before they will work, but yes, along with clutches, solenoids. and sensor checks. E
Edit..Attached the 958 example to be sure..

there it is OK.. Service Mode, State Confirmation , Load Check thx!
Really old KM machines had load checks, then for a while KM removed it for some reason. Recent models have thankfully brought it back. Don't know what KM was thinking with removing it!
A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Now, KM service manager for 3 years.
My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...

I always wondered why some models did not have this "feature." It just seems lazy. Heck, the code was already prepped.
On the C654, if you have an old service manual it doesn't even have the load check list. If memory serves, there is a section for it but no list, really? How could this possibly be an afterthought? There is very little doubt in my mind that the engineers did not use this function to troubleshoot (errr... perhaps they didn't--which--possibly explains a few things).
"What were they thinking?!"
