Import/Export address book from C308 to C300i

Quick question, i'm upgrading my client with a C308 to a new C300i so is it possible to transfer the address book?

Don't think I've tried, i'd like to use the USB method.

You need to set the soft switch in service mode and then in admin mode transfer to export to USB

Page Scope Data Admin will do the same..Pretty handy tool as long as you keep it updated. E

Yeah SW72 HEX 04.

I believe on the 8 series this is set by default.

I've had the USB method not work sometimes so I usually just use Pagescope Data Admin. I just imported all access codes/accounts and one-touches from a C220 (no USB backup option) to a C550i using PDA the other day. Worked like a charm.

Address book works fine, but don't try to do network settings or anything like that by USB. The i series stores that data differently, and I've seen machines lock up because it doesn't recognize the data.

The menu layout is different on the i series, but is the import section in the same place?

Import/export worked fine via Pagescope which was a bit help as there were around 50 SMB entries this saved me a lot of time!
