Bizhub C284e print button flashing blue & red

    Hi all,

Attended this model today, it had dropped off the network because it has picked up a new IP address.

So I turned off auto IP & set to manual, it now prints & scans fine.

However the print key permanently flashes alternating blue/orange when not in use not seen this before is there a reason for it?

It is difficult to suggest something to someone with as much knowledge as you.

Start key flashing orange and blue says that is when the printer is in print job.

If she has this job status in "ready to print" mode, it appears to be a logical error.

    I would start with firmware.

This error started after switching to fixed ip?
    Nothing like day after day

Check your vcare settings in service mode, i think you might have not completed maintenance and left it on start maintenance.

could be a hosed print job
you would have to check each pc

The flashing amber/blue start button indicates a problem with the built-in HDD.

Jip VCare still in maintenance mode.
Go to the VCare settings in service mode and look for the Complete button.

I think this could be it, while troubleshooting to see if the machine would scan & I also checked to see if CSRC would connect, maybe I didn't complete the last step. Thanks!
