Tray 3 has jam 1730 on 2 sided copies only. Single sided copies are fine. Replaced the clutch behind the black pullout transport tray. Bent the tray 3 sensor underneath the plate with the 2 screws down about 2mm. Replaced all feed components. Registration rollers turning smoothly not stiff or binding. Fuser and all consumeables are current and not overdue. Still gives that duplex jam code of 1730 but only from that tray. Suggestions appreciated.

Is it at the most current firmware level?
Verify that any actuators are operating correctly. Correct/replace any faulty actuator.
Note: Ensure that Tray 3 paper feed sensor (PS21) actuator is not worn or binding. This has been an issue in the recent past.
Unplug the MFP, check the female connector behind Tray 3 (CN113A) for any tiny pieces of paper or contamination, and thoroughly clean it.
Check if ICP13 on Printer Control Board (PRCB) is OPEN which affects Feed section operation on the Paper feed/transport drive board (PFTDB). If so, replace the PRCB.
Replace the actuator of PS21 with the modified type (p/n A2X0668200).
