Yes i ​machine.

Situation is slightly different now. Error has gone, machine works ok. However after about a minute the display goes off and the whirly-gig symbol appears. If you touch the screen it comes back and works fine. A bit like an energy save situation but it isn't and energy save settings have no effect. It looks as though it is trying to load something...

To disable the MarketPlace screen saver perform the following:

1. Enter the Utility> Administrator mode
a. default password is 1234567812345678
2. Select System Settings
3. Select Reset Settings
4. Select System Auto Reset
5. Turn the Screen Saver Function toggle to O

I had a similar issue.

Look at the error history in CE mode, mine logged C2204 yet error on the on screen was E201.

You 3 have been really helpful and I will try your suggestions tomorrow and let you know how I get on. This is the first time I have raised a thread on here and am impressed. Minolta themselves do not know what that code means...
