8 series webpage questions concerning account track setup

I went out to setup account track on a c458 and went to authentication/account track, as administrator, turned on account track, chose password only hit the ok button and I keep getting this message- " input value is not valid" and the mfp does not go into account track mode.
Also, I treid to setup the address book from the webpage, client only uses email, I would setup the email address, and I would get this message, "Error E-mail Address: including invalid character." I was able to setup the address book via the control panel with no issues. Any thoughts?

I just found this video, it needs to be turned on at the mfp for account tracking. Turn on Account Tracking - YouTube

But, I still do not know why I am getting an invalid email character message from the webpage when trying to setup email in the address book.
