Machine too old. There is no firmware to enable current security protocols by Gmail or micro$oft.
Your machine is obsolete.
Perfect upgrade scenario as nothing can be done about it.
No longer supported by konica either.
Easiest workaround is to scan to a USB stick and email them from your computer.

That machine was officially discontinued and obsolete on 12/2019

is the last firmware available for this model, allows you to scan to folder... it's just like for smb1.0 I can scan successfully.


I would really like to try to update the firmware to the latest one available for this device

You won't be able to scan to windows 8 or 10. Xp or maybe windows 7 only for smb v1
Really best to scan to USB stick or buy a new machine with current capabilities.

Loading SMB v1 is NOT recommended.. that is why MS is disabled it.
Ransomware can infect the computers attached to the copier.

No SMB v 2.0 is not supported on the old C280.

Win 10 does support SMB v1.0 however you may need to enable it but others have said this presents a security risk.
