Oops! It rotated.
I'm sure it was slamming that broke the upper latch. I cannot find it in the parts manual though. Does anybody have a part number? =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

looks like someone must of been slamming the door, probaly with fuser door left open and thought more force was the reason it wouldnt close.
i looked but couldnt find it. back in the day I had plenty of ex lease C360 so i always just took the latches off old copiers
I believe what you are looking for is #7 in the images below. Why it is found in the PH Unit section is beyond me...

My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...
How did I miss that? Three passes through the manual, and it didn't catch it.
Thanks! =^..^=

One other thing ... do you suppose this might account for 99-01 jams? =^..^=
