    Fiery C658

    Having trouble with Fiery

    Replaced it's HDD.
    Reloaded software.
    Installed on copier.
Fiery button appears in menu but I get the attached errors.

I can access it via machines web browser on 172.17.249.1

    I ran intial setup

Copier gets a fiery address of 172.17.249.2 and a LAN IP.

Can print direct to machine via it's 192.168.0.33 address

    Fiery address won't work.

Also if I try to enter network settings on copier the "failed to connect to controller" msg and boots me back to menu if I click ok

No idea what I'm doing wrong

the fiery should be at 192.168.0.32 as it assigns the copier 1 number up from itself.
the 172. address is just a dummy address displayed.

    im a fiery noob.

i updated firmware, set to v4.2 disabled IP filtering and enabled RAW printing

something fixed it in that process.

I assume there is a installation guide but my supervisor said he only had it for the older Windows based fiery

    anyway got it working, thanks
