    C3350i eat toner

Especially the magenta toner wears out quickly and fills the waste toner box...No error codes. Print quality is good

There's a bulletin about this on the KM tech site. Replace image unit following instructions and fw update

Check your TCR levels..if they are very high you will need to update f/w replace the IU and run the out of the box setup. You should be good to go after this (assuming you see very very high TCR ratios). E

    I've had this exact issue.

The resolution is to update the firmware (no surprise it's a KM) then run initialisation + stabilise with the paper tray out.

Chek TCR value ( aprox 6.5 % is normal) for every color ! Update last firmware !

As much as I like KonicaMinolta machines the ultimate resolution is to buy color A4 Ricoh MFPs. A4 color models simply aren't KM mainstream.

Which models? Some are more successful others are not. But for any model there are "good" service solutions.

Totally agree, when I install a new Ricoh MFP I very rarely need to go back.

    Paper tray out..Why??

I replaced the magenta drum unit. Update firmware GC2-E9. Clean the toner filter(full off magenta toner), change new M toner and waste toner box.
Now just waiting to see what happens...

If you pull out tray 1 and run "Initialize + Image Stabilization" the printer will perform the “High Speed Developer Stirring” (mixing toner and dev) for about 4 minutes.
This will (can) fix the TCR values and it might not be neccesary to replace the IU.
