I have a Konica Minolta C658 here with about 1.8 million prints. It has always been maintained according to instructions.
How many prints do you think the machine will still manage?

If it is maintained the same way, another million would not be far fetched

Sales guys does not want to hear this. 4.8 Mil or 5 years.
Support life these days are around 8 years.
Whatever
Those models are workhorses. That manufacturer number of 4.8 mil or 5 years is if the machine is run according to design, very high monthly volume. In lower monthly volume offices machine would probably last way more than Konica Minolta "end of life" but of course be UN-supported. That's where us Indy's come in, help keep a 1.5 mil machine going a few more years if Kon/Min don't want to support it
I have seen where not running production models as they were designed actually have more problems. These machines were basically designed to run 8 -10 hours a day, 5 days a week "almost" non-stop.
But beware, a Konica Minolta C658 should not be put on the same level as a C654e. A C654e is designed for higher volumes than a C658.
What would you spend for a KM C658 with 1.8 million prints (equipped with Fiery, large booklet finisher with post inserter)? Consumables are all about medium level.
