    I've done over 20 of them using a m2 ssd adaptor and a utility called testdrive. remove all partitions and leave the drive raw and unformatted. looks just like a new drive to copier. (bad ssd's will preform sluggish and get hot while being wiped i toss these )

    Does this wipe the machine counters etc? if so is there away to back them up first?

    Which m2 ssd adapter does one need to buy? Looked for testdrive could not find it on the internet.

    I'm guessing I will need to purchase a m.2 nvme ssd to usb 3.1 pci-e to usb-a 3.0 internal converter card

    misstated utility is testdisk for windows.
