    Konica Mobile Print + Account Track

    Hello all,
    I am trying to print from android phones to a machine with account track and pins enabled, its a 250i with the latest firmware installed (G4).

    I can print from within the 'Konica Mobile Print' app without any issue but I have to jump through hoops when trying to print from from outside the app, i.e. with Gmail or Chrome.

    for example, in order to print an email in Gmail, I select print on an email and the print dialog that opens shows the default paper size as 'letter' when it should be A4. if I were to hit print now, the job is rejected with a 'Group Authen Error'

    in order to get it to print, on the print dialog I have to hit the drop down arrow to see the extra options, then select 'More Options'. if I then to go back, without changing anything, the default paper size will have changed to 'ISO A4' and the job will print.

    has anyone come across this issue before, any thoughts?

    Do you care about tracking mobile prints or wouldn't it be okay to not be tracked?

    the machine is in a school and they want to track all usage.

    you could create a account track user called mobile(i think thats the user name for all iphone/ipad/android) print jobs and dont assign a PIN/password to the account

    also make sure letter to A4 is enabled.

    That should overcome the group auth error deleting the job and it trying to print on Letter instead of A4.

    I went through similar drama when a customer randomly decided to replace all windows and mac laptops with chromebooks
