    bizhub C250i foggy backgroud printout

    Hi everybody,

One customer reported that the color printout has a bit foggy background, compare with B/W one.
The color drums have 60% something and 30% something on black drum.
The machine takes 40K color and 140K black counters.

Any idea about this issue? thanks.

    i dont see anything wrong.
you can always reset and stabilize then do the gradations 3 times each and see if it changes but frankly, im missing where the problem is.

I believe there is a firmware upgrade to cure a problem with too much cyan.
A previous firmware upgrade caused the issue and it was then upgraded again to cure the issue
This was on Develop but I assume KM initiated it.

    you can try this:
    change switch 153 bit 6

    under pcl driver:
quality tab/quality adjustment/other/turn pure black off

before all that, try just simply calibrating it like i suggested above.
