    C1060 vs. C2060

    Hello,

Seeing that these two engines are *almost* identical, what makes the C2060 able to run 350 gsm paper while the C1060 is only limited to running 300 gsm paper?

Has anyone tried running 350 gsm paper on the C1060? Are there any major issues?

    Thank you.

the machines are almost the same, just the 2060 has the ability to adjust the skew, you can print 350gsm without fear, just you can see skew on some papers!
the best is the 3070 !!!

That is good to hear. Does the same apply for auto duplex?

Also, does anyone know if I were to put an old PI-502 on the FS-532 finisher, would the machine refuse to work with it e.g. simply because the S/N on the PI-502 is old?

I have had some success running 350 gsm/2 on a C1060l using the LU tray. Fresh feeders are a must and run everything face-up, single sided. You can still expect some jams though. Just tell the machine and the Fiery that the stock is 300 gsm/2.
