Toner compatibility

We have several c754 and c554 running with anything we can get in stock right now: tn610, tn612, tn615, tn616, tn616-l, tn611, tn613, tn413, tn618, tn622, tn324, tn514 and of course tn321, tn711 and tn512.

just avoid using 3 or 4 “old” toners (the ones with out developer) straight in a row to avoid low tcr. As long as is OEM we are good to go. I also believe (dont have proofs) that machines with higher volumes tend to blend toner better. In several machines in our printshop we have also used tn217, tn414, tn010, tn214 with out any issues.

right now cause the shortage we also use compatible toner from katun, cet, ikon.

Anyone have any genius ways to transfer toner from bottle to bottle? I look like a smurf trying to transfer some cyan toner using a funnel.

TN 014 to /017--Remove end caps tape bottles together and come back in 1/2 hour (think hourglass) Office swap caps (4 clips that secure the caps) TN 014-Tn016 remove top cap from TN 16, get a funnel, and a vacuum. You can get about 2/3 of a TN -14 into a TN -016. Have not had to swap any production color yet. E

I think the same. The real question is what toner from bigger models maybe even production(lower price per grams) will work on 4,7,8 series

I just did 3 bottles of black..not going to say what I look like, but the smurf visual got a real chuckle out of me.

Is it the same as TN-321C or TN-324C?
Does it contains developer?

The vast majority of new printers, toner works on older ones.

You probably have good chance if the fuser temp targets are within the same margin, otherwise this might backfire.

Just got a TN620C (for C2070L) OEM.
Is it the same as TN-321C or TN-324C?
Does it contains developer?

If it's in clear bottle like TN-321 or TN-324 you can shake it and watch the movement inside. Developer is much heavier than toner and actually floats inside. Very easy to see on yellow but on cyan may be a bit difficult.

You can help eliminate guessing and/or expensive drum developer replacements..Put the boxes side by side and compare the ingredients. If one contains something the other does not, then probably stay away from it. E
