Office 365 No Longer Works on Bizhub's

We have no issues with 4e and newer models using Office 365. Everything older we had to move over to a Rackspace as they still support the less secure connections. At least for the time being. I can't give you any details as this isn't my area of expertise. Our IT guy hands this side of things...

I spoke with Konica support and they advised me to just upgrade the machine as the 3 series can't support tls 1.2 so I asked them why Gmail still works when they switched to 1.2 years ago and I was told I'm lucky...So I created a free outlook account and put the smtp.office365.com smtp settings in on a 223 I have here and it works just fine. I'm gonna see if this account works for the customer and go from there.

Gmail has an option to enable "Less secure app access" which is why gmail works for old machines that don't support modern email security.

or you could use smtp2go.com

you must have a domain and email in that domain. for example admin@captainrva.com

What I've heard from out IT guy is that Microsoft isn't supposed to switch over to TLS1.2 until next year (2022), but apparently some of the servers have already been switched for some reason. We've found that O365 scanning on the older machines is hit and miss, depending on which server the copier gets when it attempts to send the scans. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I get what you saying, But I can't get office 365 to work on 3, 4, 4e, or 8 series Bizhubs. It used to work just fine up until the end of october.

4 & 3e series are still supported, as you know you simply need to update the firmware.

0365 will work fine on the 4e and 8 series.

Sounds like you are not configuring them correctly.

As always update the firmware to the latest version will resolve most issue.
