    Bizhub C224E

    Hi

Have a problem with Bizhub C224E. When printing single sided prints are very good but when doing double sided, the second side is very poor. Looks like not transferring image properly.

    Help will be appreciated

    Thanks

I would try a new 2nd image transfer roller.

Have you tried with single colors or with black? Often even the charge rollers give these problems ...

Is the paper damp or humid?
The copier copies second side first and first side second so if the first side is dense enough it has run through the fuser already and dried out and accepts more toner on the page.
Copy 10 pages of test then put them back in and copy on the back of the same 10 pages see if round 2 is darker.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

    Thanks for the reply

I would agree with damp paper., but if I do single copies whether its 1 or 50 they are all good so it cant be damp paper. Its only does it on the duplex

Try setting to a heavy paper type to see if there are any changes, The machine shifts hv output on 2nd side, maybe the shift is effecting 2nd side 2nd transfer adversely.
