    Bizhub 282 C2557 error

    We took this machine in from customer who bought new one. It worked for about 4 copies and now displays C2557. I saw a youtube on how to reset it but didn't work.
    What is this code indicating ?

    Toner ratio code. Could be toner add assy stays locked on. Or old dev.

    Clear drum & developer counters, remove Image unit and install NEW drum & developer. Run F8 in service mode after replacing Drum & Dev and will be good to go.

    Be aware that neither the drum nor the developer is available direct from Konica any longer. Tried to get both about a month ago for an old machine that a customer refused to give up, and the order form stated that the items are no longer available for order.
    A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Now, KM service manager for 3 years.
    My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...
