Hi Apologies I see this is an old issue but having a similar problem so didn't want to clutter up the forum with a new thread..
As title states can't access service mode.
Printer is a bizhubb c224e
have used the standard menu/counter/display keypad/stop 00/stop 01 or should I say have tried to...
I get as far as display keypad - press stop and just get a double [error?] beep .. I can access main admin panel via net connection but cannot find service mode in there?
I have to replace transfer roller and fuser unit so need to reset those settings and believe it can only be done in service mode?
Any help would be gratefully appreaciated
thanks in advance

its supposed to beep, ignore the sound.

As tsb posted it's not necessary to reset counters when replacing consumables but I suspect your consumable messages aren't turned off and you have message to replace on display?
Have you read through this thread and tried any of the suggestions?
Hi thanks for your reply.. So I'm just using the standard method I researched online to enter service mode.. I can access the adminsitrative side via web interface and on machine but just cannot access service mode.
from what I can atain i should simply be able to press 'Stop' 00 then Stop 01 and it enters service mode. Or does this require to be enabled in some way first?
Edit: I'm following this method here

hi. this is a good method. u can do it faster if you like. u cam have to input a password to enter to service mode. on video they don't have pass on service mode. password can be 9272927292729272 4x9272
admin pass is not correct to enter the service.

[QUOTE=jotunn;2046274]To be more accurate, procedure looks like:
Reference
To perform the CE Password Reset:
1. Press Menu
2. Touch [Counter].
3. Touch the following keys in this order
Stop -> 0 -> 0 -> Stop -> 0 -> 1
4. On your input password screen, touch the following keys in this order
Stop -> Clear
> I'm genuinely curious what your idea of helping is
I'm gonna use tools intended for this task Why use screwdriver as a hammer?
