BH-C-284e, weight in grams of developer

Anyone know the weight in grams of the developer inside the units for the BH-C-284e please?
Reason I'm asking is that big K supplies 190gr against other suppliers 260gr. Assuming that both do know what they are doing, why the difference?

A new dv unit should last 500-600k, is it not more cost effective just to replace it instead of faking a fresh life cycle?

It depends, when getting machines from a wholesaler sometimes the previous techs fiddled around with the drum and developing units and other parts. They could be as old/new as the consumables counters indicate or otherwise. Often we had with the previous generations that for instance the fuser consumable counter was let's say 20K but the fuser film and other parts indicate that it had much over 500k. Obviously before the machines came to the wholesaler somebody picked out the raisins leaving the machine with old crap. With developing units there are much less physical indicators for a heavy use.

To be sure in certain cases we want some machines to have developing units in "as new" condition so therefore we want them to have unused developer in it.

Buy only original K developer units (they're cheap) and can be used as color also. You will buy probably a bag with developer at half cost of whole new K developer unit it simply doesn't makes sense especially in this machine.
