    4752 lifestop

    Does anyone know how to disable life stop for the IU on the 4752? Thanks.

    2.6.1 Life stop
    (1) Use
    • To select whether or not to stop a print cycle when the maintenance kit reach its service life.
    NOTE
    ▪ The settings of software Dip switch No.227 (bit7) and switch No. 230 (bit3) have priority.
    (2) Default setting
    • Off
    (3) Setting item
    • Enable
    • Off

    if it has already reached life the message may not go away, this is normally set prior to install.
    We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    Also don't ask me for files without a contributor badge.

    Synthohol kindly this is for maintenance kit parts and OP asked about IU(drum-dev combo). Which is also in manual simply can't remember function/code.

    life stop is for drum and DV.
    it can be overridden by those 2 dip sw.
    also i wasnt aware of any konica maintenance kit for a office model. just for production machines.

    Those are all setting regarding IU life warnings/stop for this model.
    As per Maintenance kit they are inherited from their Lexmark origin(see below).
    "Maintenance kit" shown in the Service Mode is the generic name of the following maintenance parts.
    However, parts are not supplied as a maintenance kit from the market, so place an order individually for each part.
    Parts
    Fuser
    ACM pick roller
    Transfer roller
    Separator roller assembly
    MPF pick roller and separator pad

    Warning display Near Life Display Settings

    (1) Use
    To set whether or not to display the life warning of individual consumables.
    When [Do Not Display] is selected, a warning is not displayed at the time of life detection.
    However, in CS Remote Care, life warning is always sent to the Center regardless of this setting.
    Applicable consumables are as follows:
    Imaging unit, Maintenance kit
    NOTE
    ▪ The settings of software Dip switch No.227 (bit7) and switch No. 230 (bit3) have priority.
    (2) Default setting
    Imaging unit: Display
    Maintenance kit: Do Not Display
    (3) Setting item

    PM parts lifetime display An entire screen warning is given when the service life of a specific unit has been reached,

    Yes When the service life has been reached, a malfunction code and an entire screen warning appear on the control
    panel.
