The memory is the same as that which is installed from the factory, so if you have a parts machine from that same era, you can grab the 2GB stick out of it and install in the second slot. As for the OCR option, I've never dealt with that so I'm unsure what else would be needed for that.

To install the I-Option modules you need additional memory called UK-204.
    I recommend LK 110 and not LK-105
    LK-110 is more complete

    bye

We added LK & mem for searchable PDF years ago for a law firm. Takes a long time to OCR doc's on the machine. Even swapped the HDD for an SSD trying for better speed. Just scan to folder & use Adobe Acrobat at the PC to OCR in 1/3 the time. Plus no waiting in the job list for another scan while it's busy for 15 min. The bottleneck is the processor.

    Thanks for that.
Curious if you've seen the i series churn right through OCR-ing an 80 page pdf? Or several back to back? Duplexed?
When I get the new storage boards in for my locked up C250i & C360i, and they are no longer bricks...
Then I can go back to complaining about how un-elegant the i series touch screen experience is.
For now, like the current gov't., the jokes just write themselves!
