    6136 P and PF710

we are swapping PF 707's with PF710s on 3 6136Ps. At power on each PF 710 throws a C0456 communication error. Tech has updated F/W but no change, Other than S/N entry, there are no config steps in the install guide and these should work W/O a hitch. Any thoughts?

Just a quick edit..we are moving from a PF 709 to a PF 710. The KM site does not have a install guide listed for the PF 709 so I can't tell if there was some softswitch that is no longer needed. Fun stuff.

I seem to recall having to install a media sensor option when installing some of these paper decks. Check on that. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The issue turned out to be the 710 now has 2 material numbers, A9JXWY1 and 2..WY2 will not work on the 6136..The rep ordered the PFUs (WY2) based on the previous 7136 we had just installed.

KM makes changes in the accessories so you cant use older accessories on newer machines . Attaching chart

Product code is first four of serial number area code is the next three digits of serial number. I would look at this before attempting to hook that booklet maker to another machine. It was a .xls file I converted to .pdf so its a little difficult read but can be done

PF 707 does not work with 6120/6136. It looks the same, but these are different models from the PF 710.
