    Bizhub C250i FS-539SD jamming code J7225

    Hi all,

    As per the title we have this device in a church & it jams every time in the booklet maker with the jam code J7225 @PS12 (this sensor works fine.)

    I can't see any obstruction / stuck paper.

    There is a TAD (bulletin) on this issue, checking the gears are aligned correctly, which they are.

    Do any of you guys have any tips!?

    Churches tend to be very damp places. There are a lot of relay rollers in the booklet finisher too. Wd40 them all and wipe dry, plus try a fresh 80gsm paper.

    Yes I agree, first thing I did was new paper etc. It seems the issue is the paper is not being fed out of the booklet holding area to be folded etc.

    Is the paper weight set correctly. You could also try using an antistatic spray such as brillianize to clean the plates inside of the folding unit

    It's not this simple, can't get a single fold / booklet to pass through.

    Seems like a drive issue but no errors to indicate this.

    Yes, it was the front blade mount was cracked at one end so the blade / knife wasn't returning home level preventing the paper from passing.
