    i-option (webserver) license code

I live in Korea and support for Konica Minolta is really none.

I need to activate i-option (which I was told by my rep that my machine does have) to install papercut but my rep doesn't know what license is.

I showed my rep to enter License code page in the web but he doesn't know where to get the license code.

Does anyone know where to get or purchase the license code? My rep in Korea doesn't know...

FYI, I also bought 3 other same Konicas from my rep and they were all activated with i-option (it doesn't even ask for license code. It is activated by default)

    Thank you

I'm guessing it's the web browser - try this link, you may need to copy and paste into your browser. You'll need the device s/no lms.konicaminolta.com/LicenseFree/KM/support_free.aspx . Depending on the model, you may also need a memory card

Yes - It's the webbrowser and the model is C368.

I tried the link above and its saying the below.

    "Failed to register License.

The entered Token Code cannot be used with the specified MFP Serial Number."

    Thank you!

    those machine license themselves.
just make sure the gateway and DNS are correct for the network.
when you activate web browser in admin mode it will self license.
if it fails your network info is inaccurate.

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

Yes that is what I thought but its keep asking for license. I made sure it has the correct network setting but not sure why its asking to enter license.

    Thank you!

Was this unknown Bizhub a new or used machine ? if it's a used one maybe it has had a the storage board or CPUB replaced in the past.

You may need to update the firmware & the i option file etc etc.

    Re: i-option (webserver) license code

The C368 came with I-option built in, but needed the extra memory stick. Do have 4gb of RAM when you print a config sheet? As far as licensing it. once you enable it in admin mode it should reach out to the LMS server, go through a few verification steps and enable itself. If this is where you are getting the error then possibly you are not allowed to connect to this server that most def in not in Korea. There used to be a errata sheet that came with this old machine that gave you the step to add the token manually, but I cannot find it.
