Konica C224e - really strange sporadic stripe on one Site

    Hello,

a really strange Issue appeared on our Konica Minolta C224e, see attachments. I have a stripe on the 11mm wide stripe on the operator side. It's sporadic, the servereness ranges from nothing to a darkgray stripe with stripes of C, M, Y in it.
It seems to be the measure-strips, which the machine uses to calibrate itself? The problem is getting worse, sometime the color-registration is greatly of (probably because is can't calibrate itself?).
Another side-effect, but not sure is it is connected with the main-problem: slight ghosting of larger areas and lines, see attached images.

I have a second machine (KM C224) to swap parts for finding the cause, if needed.

I already tried: swapping the ITB, swapping the 2nd transfer roller, image-stabilisation in the admin-settings.

What could i try to solve this? Thanks for any help, i'm at the end of my knowledge

    Greetings,
    Clanki

Those lines are caused by the transfer unit cleaning blade not cleaning the belt fully after the device has run a calibration.

You say you swapped this unit with another one but I assume with a used one? If so fit a new transfer belt unit.

Also if you are not using genuine Konica Minolta toner this will cause the same issue.

You also have background. Replace the transfer belt with a new one.
