If we told you we'd have to kill you too.
For once many will agree with manuals4you.......
Unethical at best and illegal in some places...
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!
How about copying currency, stocks, and bonds? How about turning back the odometer on your car? Don't you want that too?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It's kinda funny, but I had a boss once who actually told me to reset the counter on one of the earlier Konica Minolta color boxes (pre-bizhub). Oh yeah, it's possible... It also cost my boss about $1500 in consumable parts that had to be replaced because of the counter reset... LOL
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.
for some country..by reset meter counter is not an illegal job...so for me does't matter to share how to reset meter counter... by just sharing the info& trick is not illegal... but for certain place reset counter meter is assume illegal...so just share lol...its depend on us either to reset or not according to the situation and place.. sharing for caring..its is this forum objective..
I smell Zaza.....

I dont think any engineer would share that info with anyone....irrespective of which country they're in....it's all about ethics...i would hate to buy a "new" copier....cos the counter has been reset & then discover its actually a pile of crap & then have to spend a load more money on it......
Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...
If the counter is so important for KM i would except a NVRAM tool to recover the counter if one has to exchange the NVRAM. And what about a recovery tool for the NVRAM for Amur/Donau like the one for the older models?
Replacing the NVRAM would reset your counters, and if done for genuine troubleshooting reasons would be acceptable, as long as the customer was given that info...otherwise, why don't you post the name of your company and location you're at and we can ask your local govt if what you're doing is legal there.
