    2 New black drum unit tested & no reset drum counter!!!

    Make sure the pins arent bent on the dv unit that contact the drum chip.

    Had this happen before when inexperienced tech replaced drum cart in a ham fisted manner

    Check that there are no "P" codes up, as I think if there is the drum will not reset.

    Most likely you have not followed the instructions properly...the front door must be open when you do the reset. Emujo

    Ahh, that proceedure is for the belt and fusing unit. The drum is provided with a "new article detection device"
    If at first you don't succeed, try the way I told you how to do it in the first place.
